Wow!! What a year so far!! Snow and more snow, water and more water. Finally the weather seems to be cooperating with us and we can get on with our busy lives. May through August always seem to bring lots of activities for family and friends. Weddings, graduations, reunions etc. Now and then we can squeeze in a little time to relax and sew. But we can always look for inspiration and we have lots of opportunities for that!!! Be sure to mark your calendar for the Quilts in The Park event to be held in Fort Atkinson at Jones Park this year. More on that on the back page of this newsletter. And Shop Hop is coming up too, the first weekend in October. We have lots of quick and easy classes coming up this summer. Classes where you can come and get something accomplished!!!! Also, make plans for the new Retro’ 1930s block of the month (shown at right) starting in fall. It is by Lori Smith and it really is wonderful . Our new web site is up and running too. Easier, bigger and more up to date. Go there to get updates on sales, classes, information about shows and the latest merchandise at Woodland Quilts. Happy Quilting!!!
